Julia Edits New UN Book on eGovernment in the Gulf

Julia had the honour of editing a new book by Dr Ali Al Khouri, the Director General of the Emirates Identity Authority and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA). Entitled Creating a Digital Government for 21st Century Citizens: GCC Making a Global Impact, the study assessed emerging eGovernment trends like Open Data and Co-Creation in the context of the Gulf States and their respective rankings in the 2014 UN eGovernment Readiness Survey. With input from a distinguished group of senior e-government researchers and advisers, the book reflects the most comprehensive assessment to date of eGovernment in the six Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) nations- Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
