On 25 February Citadel team convened in Brussels for the final review, and passed it! The reviewers noted good overall progress and were particularly impressed by project management and the quality of tools and methodologies that were designed to help cities open and use data. The integration of tools in a single platform and awareness that was raised about the project and Open Data more generally were two other things that scored highly.
Where the reviewers wished to see more progress is better community's use of Citadel results and real-time data integration. Even so, they thought CItadel tools and framework can be used in future national and EU Open Data projects, and suggested to keep the project alive by updating the website with new datasets. Overall the project was deemed a success, something that the entire Citadel team is, of course, extremely proud of.
