21c Founder and President Dr. Julia Glidden will be taking to the stage at the department of Business, Innovation and Skills on the 19th March for the ODI Event 'General Election 2015 – Exploring how the UK can continue to lead the Open Data agenda'. The event, which brings together leaders from the political and Open Data worlds, will explore what the UK needs to do to ensure it continues to lead the Open Data agenda after the 2015 General Election. Julia is one of 5 select speakers chosen to headline the debate and will share the stage with Chi Onwurah, Shadow Minister for Digital Government, Paul Maltby, Director of Open Data and Government Innovation at Cabinet Office, Volker Buscher, Director at Arup and ODI Founder Professor Sir Nigel Shadbolt. The evening event will provide a forum for 21c to share the latest insights from our work with Citadel on the Move and help to ensure that any future government prioritises the practical, ground-level guidance that remains the crucial stumbling block for so many Local Authorities in their Open Data journey.
