21c, together with the Department of Communities and Local Government and St Albans Council, met this week to finalise preparations for an exciting new event to be held in the city on the 27th -28th March. The event, provisionally titled the St. Albans Data Fest, will bring together local government, digital entrepreneurs from the 'Silicon Abbey' group and young people for two days of sessions focussed on the power of Open Data to transform local economies.
