Julia was invited to take part in the National Congress for Digital Government, an inspiring meeting point for government and society representatives interested in digitalisation and automatisation of services.
Julia delivered a keynote speech during the first day of the conference themed "Social media in the light of the i – Society' discussing eParticipation in an Era of Co-Creation. Dr Glidden drew participants' attention to the vital link between citizens, governmental departments, businesses and organizations. As she argued: 'working together will result in an integrated approach to urban development'. The direct contact with the public, including through social media, is an opportunity to integrate ideas, share knowledge, drive innovation and growth, and to deliver the public services 21st century cities want and need!
