Julia and Ben were in Brussels last week for the kick-off of our latest major project – The European Cloud Marketplace for Intelligent Mobility (ECIM). The project, uniting 15 organizations from across Europe, is the follow on to the hugely successful EPIC and is set to position our work at the forefront of the drive toward unleashing the power of the cloud for Europe’s Public Authorities. ECIM will be working specifically in the area of transportation services to make it possible to create, offer and use services with our cloud platform.
ECIM uses the power of the cloud to create a market place for transportation solutions that service creators can use to create innovative applications and sell them around the world, city managers can use to find and purchase these applications and citizens can use to easily and reliably access them – anytime, anywhere!
The meeting saw transport experts, cutting-edge entrepreneurs, technology specialists and city managers come together to exchange ideas and discuss the great work that ECIM will be doing over the coming months.
