On 12th January 2015, Julia and Ben helped to bring together together 22 participants from Local Government, Central Government and the Private Sector to assess the current landscape and future direction of the Smart City Open Data landscape in the UK. The workshop, which was held at the British Standards Institute in London, UK explored the challenges preventing UK Local Authorities from unlocking the potential benefits of Open Data and set forth to identify practical solutions to address them. The day long event was organised by 21c Consultancy and IS Communications with the support of the British Standards Institute and the Citadel on the Move Project.
